This 2006 model 8 metre Markham Dominator was commercially built to 2C survey. She has a heavy solid construction, consisting of 25mm thick sides (1inch) and 50mm thick hull bottom (2 inches). She also hosts an optional extra Port and Starboard dive doors as well as her stern dive platform with boarding ladder.

This offshore weapon is kitted out with twin 2009 supercharged 4 stroke Mercury Verado 150hp outboards which have been serviced by Leigh Saracino at LMS.
She holds 400 litres of fuel, sports a 125 litre centre underfloor storage bin, and is kitted out with a 200 litre Techni Ice esky and an additional 100 litre Igloo esky.
Anchoring on your deep water drops is done easily with the huge Lonestar G2000 drum winch and 2000 watt motor which is fitted with 175 metres of 10mm rope, 15 metres of 10mm chain, and a Lonestar 15kg stainless steel “mud magnet” anchor.
In the electronics department the Furuno Nav Net VX2 4Kw X-band radar⁄plotter⁄sounder interfaces with a 10.5 inch display. The helmsman also has a host of other electronics within easy reach, including a Furuno loud hailer unit, Icom VHF radio, Uniden 27 MHz radio, GME am⁄fm⁄cd⁄usb sound system with Pioneer speakers and a joystick operated Jabsco remote halogen spot light.
This 8m Markham sits on a state of the art drive on⁄off aluminium trailer by Wayne Howell from Seacruiser boats. The design ensures that the Markham is a 1 man launch and retrieve task with the aid of its custom boat latch system. The trailer is supported by a dual torsion axle setup and braking comes courtesy of its Alko electric hydraulic brake system, with stainless steel brake calipers fitted to all 4 rotors. When the time comes to detach the whole assembly at the end of the weekend the newly fitted Fulton Jockey wheel takes over.
This boat also comes with a huge list of extras, including a Jabsco ‘hotshot series’ 70psi saltwater deckwash system, Bermuda bait board with transom drain, Fossil Fish Creations 316 stainless steel 11 rod rack assembly on the hardtop, Ocean South quad stainless steel rod racks on the hardtop, and an additional 16 stainless rod racks at deck level………………………..now that’s a lot of storage.
